Secrets to Food & Wine Pairing with Chef Lamont Perriman and Tessier Wines

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Cress Wine Design, and Montperi Catering present: The Secrets to Food & Wine Pairing, featuring owner / winemaker Kristie Tacey of Tessier Wines, Sunday January 27, 1-4PM in San Francisco at Naked Kitchen.
Our last workshop of the year and final installment of 2018's "Women in Wine" series, featuring expertly crafted wines by Kristie Tacey. She will join us, whilst we taste through five current releases, paired with five courses, prepared by Chef Lamont Perriman. Sommelier Patrick Cress will facilitate the discussion, focusing on food pairing ideas through analyzing wine, gaining Kristie's perspective on winemaking, learning why each wine was chosen for a specific dish, and fielding questions from YOU.

Check out the pairing menu prepared by chef Lamont HERE.
Kristie Tacey, winemaker and founder of Tessier Winery, is a scientist turned winemaker. A former published research scientist who studied protein pathways, she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area from her native Michigan to pursue a career in biotechnology, which included working on the Human Genome Project. Kristie eventually came to realize that winemaking was her true calling and after working as operations manager and assistant winemaker at an award-winning East Bay winery, she started Tessier in 2009. Kristie’s appreciation of French wines — especially those from Burgundy and the Loire and Rhone valleys — has shaped her winemaking choices, and happen to go delightfully with food. We'll get a chance to try five of Tessier's current releases with five of chef Lamont's creations, and talk about why these wines pair so well together.
Purchases of two or more tickets will receive a $10 discount. When doing so, click the "Two or More Tickets" option to receive your discount.
Been to a Secrets to Food & Wine Pairing workshop before? Leave a review HERE and get $10 off a single ticket.
Vegetarian options will be available upon request. If you're a vegetarian, be sure to let us know when you reserve your ticket.
Beginners to sommeliers are welcome. The dialogue is richest when we have a wide variety of experience levels together in the same room. The idea is that we are all learning no matter how much experience we have. Bring a pen and a notebook. There will be ideas you'll want to write down.
If you prioritize delicious food, enjoy informative conversation, and the opportunity to chat up an experienced winemaker, in a relaxed, informal setting, this event is for you!
We can't wait to share the day with you.
