at Santa Cruz County Fair Grounds (see times)
Agricultural History Project’s next Second Saturday On The Farm celebrates Hay Bale Mazes and the Sierra Azul Sculpture Gardens on November 9, 11am – 3pm at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds, Highway 152 outside Watsonville. This event is FREE! Donations appreciated.
This November 9th Second Saturday you will be able to go through Arata’s Hay Bale Maze for ½ price after coming to the Agricultural History Project first.  This is a great maze just across the driveway from our location on the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds – not to be missed!  You’ll be able to take a Hay Wagon ride to the Hay Bale Maze!
Sierra Azul is offering a tour of their gardens and sculptures from 11am – noon and cactus bowl planting at 2pm.  Sierra Azul is just across the road from the Agricultural History Project.
Kids will be able to drive the tractor, pump water, and playing with hoops at the Agricultural History Project.  Our Gift Shop and Museum and all exhibit buildings will be open as well!
Second Saturdays on the Farm, held every month, offer a chance to be with a great community, and experience a little of the history of farming.  Each month focuses on a different aspect of the farming experience and explores the history as well as activities for kids and adults related to each topic.
