Sea Donkey is the inspirational story of an ordinary man’s attempt to swim from Northern Ireland to Scotland.
Adrian Sarchet's film will be announced as the recipient of The World Open Water Swimming Offering of the Year at the WOWSA Awards the following night at the Olympic Club as part of The Open Water Summit.

Adrian is an advocate from Guernsey who has completed a 1 km winter swim and 6 of 7 channels in the Oceans Seven (the seven most challenging crossings in the world). All of his swims raise money for cancer research. He has completed crossings of the English Channel, Catalina Channel, Strait of Gibraltar, North Channel, Molokai Channel, and Tsugaru Channel. He has also completed to circumnavigation swims: Round Jersey and Round Guernsey. His North Channel training and success was the subject of the film Sea Donkey, the 2017 World Open Water Swimming Offering of the Year, produced by James Harrison.
