Scottish Gathering and Games with ACE-Club

The oldest and largest Scottish Games in America is held every year over Labor Day weekend in Pleasanton- let's go to the 140th annual San Francisco Caledonian Club Scottish Gathering and Games. We'll see the pipe bands, some great Celtic rock, Scottish country dancing, sheep dog trials (no Babe, though), Highland cattle and Shetland ponies. There are competitions for the pipe bands, individual pipers and drummers and the the Highland dancers. Also, throughout the Fairgrounds there will be living history reenactments, and booths for over 100 clans!
Also, 100+ vendors of Celtic and Scottish items: kilts and dresses, jewelry, books and music- & food! Plenty of Scottish & British food including fish & chips, bangers & shortbread (though I'm sure not as good as my aunt's...)- maybe even haggis? There will be several other food vendors of different ethnic foods too.
