The Winery & Winemaker
On the heels of a wonderful dinner and amazing winemaker from Napa Valley, we are super excited to bring an acclaimed and highly sought after winemaker from Sonoma: Saxon Brown's Jeff Gaffner. Saxon Brown is a small Sonoma Valley winery, specializing in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, and Semillon. Gaffner is so highly in touch with his wines, he doesn't employ assistants, preferring instead to stay tightly connected to his vines personally. He will be here pouring 4 wines from his collection and talking with you table-side about his approach to his wines and winemaking.
The Event
This will be a Four Course Tasting Meal with Wines Paired for each course, and will include the opportunity to meet and engage with both Jeff Gaffner, Winemaker and Matt Woods, our Amazing Chef. As a guest at the dinner you will also have access to special reserve one-night-only pricing on bottles of the wines to go. Please join us in celebrating the wine offerings of Sonoma Valley's, Saxon Brown Vineyard. The founders of Scopo Divino will be present as well, we look forward to seeing you here.
There will of course be vegetarian options but we're excited to see how Chef Matt ties this all together, he is an artist extraordinaire. The first seating will be at 6pm, the second at 8:30pm. We ask that guests for the second seating not show prior to 8:15pm as we have limited room.
