Nature-lovers of all ages are encouraged to attend this month's installment of the monthly Science Saturday series, presented by the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History. This next event, entitled "Endangered Monterey," explores the various animals and plants that reside in Monterey County and which are on the brink of extinction. Guests will learn about what's endangered in their very own backyard, see if they can survive like a California Condor, discover the difficult life of a Smith's Blue Butterfly, create crafts to take home, and more. Experts from the Bureau of Land Management will be on hand to talk about what they're doing to help endangered animals.
