Scenic Bay Area Air Tours

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Golden Age Air Tours is pleased announce the return of Scenic Flights around the Bay Area in a magnificent and historically significant 1939 Douglas DC3. This is an opportunity to experience firsthand what it was like to fly in the 'Golden Age' of Aviation and rediscover the Romance of Flight.

Our Douglas DC3 is the same type of aircraft as those previously operated by Otis Spunkmeyer Air that became a popular Bay Area institution throughout the 90’s. This particular aircraft was requisitioned and used by aviation pioneer Major General Henry ‘Hap’ Arnold during WW2. Arnold was
responsible for establishing the airfield at the Presidio in 1919 and also for its naming as Crissy Field in memory of Major Dana H. Crissy. Arnold was the only US Air Force general to hold a five-star rank in two different U.S. military services and retired to Sonoma after WW2 where Arnold Drive and
the ‘Hap’ Arnold roundabout are named in his honor.

This beautiful and unique DC3 carries just 10 passengers in a luxury executive cabin configuration that allows for freedom of movement during flight and maximum viewing opportunities for all on board.

Tours this Saturday, October 28th and Sunday October 29th.

Air Tours are $299.00 per person and the truly magical Sunset and City Lights Tours are $399.00, but are restricted to just 8 passengers with table
seating and Champagne served during the flight.

We are pleased to be partnering with Kaiser Air at Oakland Executive Airport, where our passengers will meet in the lounge facility to complete the booking formalities before boarding their flight.

Come Fly With Us at Golden Air Age Tours where we make time travel a reality . . .
