The 2019 Save The Waves Film Festival presented by Sunski is excited to bring the festival back home to SF at the Bayview Opera House on Saturday, November 16th. The night's festivities will include world premieres of surf, adventure, and documentary films, as well as live music and a raffle at intermission.
The Save The Waves Film Festival is a fundraiser for the Save The Waves Coalition and World Surfing Reserves, and all proceeds support their work to conserve and protect surf ecosystems.
This event will feature a cash bar with offerings from Sierra Nevada Brewery, Tito's Vodka, Suerte Tequila, and Gray Whale Gin. To make our film festival more eco-responsible, we have eliminated single-use plastic cups at our event bars. Feel free to bring your own reusable cup, or purchase the limited edition STWFF Klean Kanteen pint cup and your first drink is on us! Thanks for helping us make this year's film festival the greenest yet!
