Saturday Social at Cleophus Quealy Beer Co. w/ Washington Manor Middle School

On the second Saturday of every month, Cleophus Quealy Beer co. joins forces with a local non-profit organization to help raise both funds and awareness for their efforts to make the Bay Area a better place.
Saturday, September 8th, CQ is partnering with Washington Manor Middle School to support their After School Garden Program. Students maintain and tend the school gardens and care for Washington Manor’s chickens, cleaning roosts and monitoring eggs. Through the After School Garden Program, students learn about life cycles, landscaping, and creating aesthetic spaces alongside valuable life skills, like teamwork, cooperation, and problem solving.
The After School Garden Program relies entirely on donations, so we’re helping them out by raising funds and hosting a drive for their most needed items:
Hand trowels
Garden gloves
Seeds
We’re also releasing our next bottled brew: Belgian Bitter. This blond ale is loaded with Glacier hops for a brew that is part funky Belgian ale, part IPA.
