The San Francisco Dungeon—the Fisherman’s Wharf attraction dedicated to revealing the dark side of Bay Area history though its scary-fun, live-action journey through the past—will send guests to hell for the holidays at Santa’s Satan’s Village. This special anti-holiday show will take place Dec. 21 through Jan. 1 and is included in the price of regular admission.
Perfect for Scrooges who find Christmas carols cloying and the season’s winter wonderland décor dreadful, Satan’s Village provides a subversive antidote to the holiday season. Guests arriving at The San Francisco Dungeon’s “deliverance” room will spin the Yuletide Wheel to find out which traditional Christmas attribute will mark their holiday season: Will it be something sentimental, such as love, family or generosity? Or will it be for those nasty peasants after their presents… GREED? Guests whose avarice knows no bounds and land on “greed” will be summoned by evil elves for a descent to Satan’s Village, located in the decidedly un-whimsical South Pole.
