Bienvenides a SANTUARIO / Welcome to SANCTUARY,The artists from Festival of Latin American Contemporary Choreographers past, present and future will be welcoming the community, bending time and opening walls with herbal tea, limpia menus, dance installations, music, story telling, activism, welcoming practices and FLACC community shares.SANTUARIO is prioritizing a more intimate connection between artists and audiences away from the proscenium stage format, awakening the senses, cherishing the present moment with eachother and blurring the lines between the spectator, the artist, the body, mind, spirit and environment. Take a journey through 7 sanctuary spaces, find refuge, care, inspiration and solidarity.
Sanctuary holders include: Bianca Mendoza, Hector Jaime, Paz Hidalgo, Raices Y Voces, Nefertiti Altan, Liz Duran Boubion, Juan Manuel Aldape Muñoz, Cathy Davalos, Daniela Garcia and more...FLACC is dedicated to creating an Apartheid Free Zone.
