San Jose hosting thousands at the Pokémon Autumn Regional Championships!

Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and video game players, their supporters, and Pokémon fans from around the West are invited to attend the 2014 Pokémon Autumn Regional Championships the weekend of October 18th and 19th. The Santa Clara County Fairgrounds is hosting the open event where competitors will compete for the coveted title of Pokémon Autumn Regional Champion and valuable Championship Points. Kicking off the 2014/2015 Pokémon Championship Series, the Autumn Regional Championships will be the first of three Regional tournaments taking place throughout North America including the Winter Regional Championships in February 2015 and Spring Regional Championships in May 2015. Players that achieve a top Championship Points ranking after the Spring Regional Championships will earn Travel Awards to compete at the 2015 Pokémon U.S. National Championships in Indianapolis this summer.
The Pokémon TCG Regional Championship begin Saturday, October 18th at 8:00 a.m. while the Video Game Championship will be held in its entirety on Sunday, October 29th starting at 8:00 a.m. Players of all ages and skill levels in good standing are encouraged to participate in the family-friendly event.
