San Jose Dance Theatre (SJDT), one of the longest running pre-professional ballet programs in the Bay Area announced today the Company's 2022 - 2023 season - "Relaunch" with the production of Sleeping Beauty on June 4-5 at The Hammer Theatre Center.
This traditional story ballet will be performed in three acts and choreographed by SJDT'S new Artistic Director Mark Foehringer.
In the Company's rendition of this beloved classic, Principal dancers Mariana Zschoerper (Bolshoi Ballet, Brazil and Company Ballet, Sao Paolo) and Augusto Cezar (Nashville Ballet) perform the role of Aurora and Prince Florian respectively. In addition, dancer Jenna Marie Graves (Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Ailey II) performs the role of the Lilac Fairy.
General Admission: $40-$60; $15 for Children's performance only.
