Oct 22 - 23: five tours starting at 10:15am, 11 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:15 p.m. both days
An annual, admission-free festival that takes place each October, San Francisco Trolley Dances has been dubbed "a gift to the City." A total of 10 tours are scheduled over the weekend, five each day starting at 10:15 a.m., 11 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. Each tour runs approximately two hours. This year's route connects San Francisco's South of Market to Chinatown. Participating artists include Ballet22, Charya Burt, Epiphany Dance Theater, Flying Angels Chinese Dance Company, Grrrl Brigade and Megan Lowe Dances.
To offer audiences greater flexibility, this year preregistration for half-tours will also be available with welcome stations at both Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and Woh Hei Yuen Park in Chinatown. Patrons may register for a tour of Chinatown alone which starts at 1 John Street. Start times for the Chinatown half-tour are 11:45 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 2 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.
As a final option, patrons may observe a filmed version of this year's event starting on November 5. The virtual tour will be available streaming on demand through the end of the year. To access the free event film visit epiphanydance.org/san-francisco-trolley-dances.
