MODEFA (Modern Ethnic Fashion Week) is a charity benefit event that showcases an exciting mélange, blending cutting-edge ethnically inspired haute couture, fashion runway show. Featuring the work of selected designers of diverse ethnic background from around the glob in the celebration of cultural diversity during the week of international Ethnic Day.
MODEFA puts a spotlight on cultural diversity! One of this year's featured designers is Iconic talented COLLEEN QUEEN a San Francisco native. The event include a exclusive VIP reception, live entertainment, beautiful art showcase, panel discussion, and more.
To commemorate International Ethnic Day celebration, AFRICAN ARTS ACADEMY will present Ivory Coast traditional dance of the mask ZAOULI performed by FELY TCHACO and Guest Artists ERIC BLI BI, MALLI TAGBA, and LILLA P. FINESS DANCE COMPANY.
This amazing charity event is on behalf of African Arts Academy, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated in the doctrines of arts and crafts originating in Africa and from the African diaspora. Proceeds will help develop, and establish a youth art activity program for after schools and during Summer breaks, in the African American Arts and Culture District of San Francisco.
