Intro to Visual Recognition and Deep Learning
Deep learning is the foundation to the advanced visual recognition that we see in sci-fi movies as it becomes a reality. We will walk through both the coding and non-coding development of two visual recognition classifiers; Coding in a Watson Studio and training a classifier in Watson Visual Recognition without a line of code. No programming knowledge is necessary, although it may be useful as we walk through the notebook.

Build Cognitive Chat Bot in 2 hours with Watson
Chatbots are becoming a standard in customer service from ordering flowers online to making flight changes on the phone. However, the success of a chatbot is dependent on the training it has received. This workshop gets the ball rolling on the development of personalized chatbot bots using Watson Assistant and deploying it to a web application.
All skill levels are welcome at these hands-on events; you only need to bring a fundamental knowledge of computing, a desire to learn more, and your own laptop for the lab material.
