San Francisco Emerging Technology Working Group

SEE EVENT DETAILS
New and emerging technologies are quickly reshaping the way San Franciscans move, eat, travel, and live. Join us in a public discussion to learn how new technologies are impacting San Francisco residents and help us create recommendations to improve our City.
San Francisco City Administrator Naomi Kelly is convening a Working Group to inform the City’s engagement and governance of emerging technologies. With input from the public, the City seeks community perspective to shape future legislation.
Ms. Kelly will be hosting facilitated working sessions over the next six months with community groups, industry, subject matter experts, and the public to develop recommendations to the Board of Supervisors. In the first Working Group Meeting, Ms. Kelly will be holding a facilitated discussion to learn about the benefits and concerns our community has with new and emerging technologies.
The Emerging Technology Working Group will convene 5 times over the next six months to gather input.

Meeting 1: July 9, 2018 - Listening Session

Meeting 2: July 26, 2018 - Listening Session

Meeting 3: August 17, 2018 - Defining the Problem

Meeting 4: September 17, 2018 - Develop Recommendations

Meeting 5: November 5, 2018 - Final Review of Recommendations

Please join us in this very important discussion!
NOTE: Due to venue capacity constraints, tickets are limited to the first working group. However, we will be holding a second listening session on July X, 2018 in a much larger venue. Please join us for either session!
