The San Francisco Black Film Festival (SFBFF) "Resilience & Empowerment" 25th Anniversary Yearlong Celebration Launches Over Juneteenth and Father's Day Weekend During Black Music Month.
SFBFF Opening Night takes place at the African American Art & Culture Complex (AAACC) Buriel Clay Theater on Thursday, June 15 at 5:00 PM and continues through Sunday, June 18 at various times and venues.
The festival kicks-off with a party June 12th at Yoshi's in Oakland. "Ladies Soul Revolution II" performs one show featuring Oakland's own Netta B with special guest Tracy Cruz and Grammy Award nominated RyanNicole at 7:30 PM.
Michael Burdette & Hylife-OCity Productions salutes Black Panther Letitia Wright's film "Surrounded" in which she stars as an intrepid and heroic female Buffalo soldier after the Civil War.
