The 29th annual San Carlos Art & Wine Faire celebrates fall in the outdoors on Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13, 2019 from 10am to 6pm each day. Sponsored by the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce, this fun-filled, outdoor family event features something for everyone including a bountiful array of beautiful artwork and hand-created crafts, live entertainment, classic and hot rod car show, some of the area's finest wines and craft brews, delectable food and so much more! New to this year is a "Bubbly Bar" featuring sparkling wines, champagne, and Craft Cocktail Bars featuring signature drinks.
Taking place in the heart of downtown San Carlos, this celebrated fall festival offers two full days of enjoyment for all ages, including a Family Fun Zone with a variety of children's activities and live entertainment each day from 11am to 5:30pm featuring singing and dancing, a magician, a ventriloquist, an interactive robotics show, and a puppet show and marionette show, all hosted by the award-winning duo Lori & RJ. Games will include life-size Pong, corn hole and other lawn games. Separately, more than 275 artists will be showcasing their original work including ceramics, pottery, watercolor and oil paintings, photography, wood working, jewelry and much more.
There's an exciting lineup of live music on two stages during the San Carlos Art & Wine Faire. Saturday on the San Carlos Avenue stage, 60's rock band The RiPTiDEs will perform from 11am-1:30pm followed by Santana tribute band Caravanserai from 2:30pm-5:30pm. Over on the Laurel Street stage, Jazz by Design will play from 11:30am-2pm and country band The Bell Brothers will play from 3pm-5:30pm. On Sunday at the San Carlos Avenue stage R&B and soul band KickBack will perform from 11am-1:30pm and then rock and dance band Livewire goes on from 2:30pm-5:30pm. The Laurel Street stage will feature Reggae group Pan Extasy Caribbean Band from 11:30am-2pm and rock and roll group The E-Ticket Band from 3pm-5:30pm.
Featured local wineries will include Cuvée Wine Cellars, Domenico Winery, Flying Suitcase Wines, as well as nearby wineries including Coppola Winery, Josh Cellars, and Jam Cellars. Sparkling wines and champagnes at the Bubbly Bar will include Nicolas Feuillatte, Francis Coppola-Sofia Sparkling Brut Rosé, Mumm Brut and Campo Viejo Cava Brut and Rose.
Beers on tap from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company will include Pale Ale, Hazy Little Thing IPA, Oktoberfest, Sierraveza, Hop Bullett IPA and a gluten removed selection Flyby Pilsner by Sufferfest.
