Originally from Boston, stand-up comic Sam Jay is an Emmy Nominated Writer most known for her writing and sketches on "Saturday Night Live." 2018 has been an incredible year for Sam Jay. This Summer, she made her Netflix debut on "The Comedy Lineup" and also released her Debut Album "Donna's Daughter." She also wrote for the "2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards" and was recognized as one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch.
In 2017, Jay had a breakout performance at the "Just For Laughs: New Faces" showcase. She went on to make her late night television debut on ABC's Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel and also filmed her half-hour stand-up special for Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents. Prior to that, Jay was named to the Comedy Central "Comics To Watch List" in 2015. Jay has performed all over the world at renowned comedy festivals such as the Vodafone Dublin Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot Festival, Clusterfest, New York Comedy Festival, and much more.
