Virtually join the Saint Andrew's Society of San Francisco for a celebration of Scotland's National Bard, Robbie Burns and our Scottish heritage of our 159th annual Burns Supper. This year we will be celebrating slightly differently in a virtual setting bringing traditional haggis with a four-course meal and a dram or two of whisky directly to your door. The evening will be filled with poetry, music, dance, and song to acknowledge Robert Burns's impact on Scottish cultural arts while honouring the Scottish women of our contemporary literary arts.
Local Guests (within 70 miles radius from San Francisco) will have the option of a four-course par-cooked meal delivered to your door to be eaten during the event. Created by Chef Derrik Soares of Popups Unlimited this meal will give you a taste of Scotland, freshly made just for you.
The distillers of GlenDronach have also made sure you're not missing a dram by sponsoring every guest with two post-dinner whisky and cheese pairings of their 12 and 18 aged whiskies. Rory Glasgow will offer a short tasting notes session during the after-party.
Group ticket holders and those who wish to add to the party will have the choice from a selection of wines from Penfolds and Beringer Vineyards. The Isle of Arran's Burns Single Malt will also be on offer to those who want to keep the party going. You must buy a meal ticket in order to have any add-on delivered to you.
Highland dress or formal attire encouraged but only if you want to show your colors during the after-party.
