We are the San Francisco Correspondence Society, and we love everything about handwritten correspondence, from the stationery to the postage.
Here we are, announcing our inaugural letter writing social! For those who may be new to letter writing, this is a casual event where we will be writing letters to loved ones, those in need, pen pals, or whomever you like! This time is for you to write, meet other fellow letter writers, and have fun! Russian Hill Bookstore has one of the best (and largest) card and stationery selection in the city and I’m SO excited we will be there for our first social. Locals, mark your calendars for Sunday, November 4th :)A few details:
There will be letter writing supplies provided, but it is recommended to bring your own letter writing supplies. Also know that there will be plenty of beautiful cards and stationery to purchase at Russian Hill Bookstore.
Postage (vintage and new!) will be available to purchase onsite as well (bring Cash or have a Venmo/Paypal account).
Feel free to bring rubber stamps, washi tape, or any crafting supplies! I will have some onsite but the more the merrier!
