All Cupertino Union School District middle school students (outgoing 6th, 7th, and 8th graders) are invited to this free introductory meeting about the S^4-Super Summer Science Search Contest, sponsored by the Cupertino Library Foundation. Students can win cash and prizes for research and reports, using the scientific databases provided by the Santa Clara County Library. The contest and all study sessions provided are free.
The S^4 Contest is a great opportunity to gain experience conducting primary research and creating reports, videos, slideshows, and other complementary work. The contest supports Common Core standards.
