Skate San Francisco is a 4 day celebration of roller skating and inline skating in the greatest city in the world – San Francisco!!! It is a destination event that will bring skaters from far and wide for a skate vacation they will never forget. You will not experience a more fun, exciting skating weekend as the one we are planning.
The action begins on Thursday night, July 11, 2019 with the Skaters' Black and White Ball event at the Church of 8 Wheels Roller Disco.
On Friday, July 12, we will roll on the world famous San Francisco Friday Night Skate. It's the most fun you can have with your cloths on!!!
We will roll into Saturday, July 13 with a roller skating music festival at Hunter’s Point Shoreline Park. That night we will roll into a fantastic roller disco party at the Church of 8 Wheels, San Francisco's Roller Disco.
At Hunter’s Point Shoreline Park, 155 Jennings Street, the site will host another "ROLLER REVIVAL" event - The San Francisco Skate Music Festival. $10 to enter - $5 for skate rental. Participants living in the 94124 zip code are free!!!
This area used to be a power plant, but has been transformed into an area that is great for roller skating. There will be two different areas where DJ’s will pump up the volume for a funky good time. There will be a Old School Funk and Soul venue, and an EDM / hiphop venue with top DJs that that specialize in their related fields of music.
On Sunday we will present the San Francisco Skaters’ Showcase at 1pm, as the best skaters strut their stuff - at 6th Ave. and Kennedy Drive (the skate circle) in Golden Gate Park.! A free event.
The gates will open at 11:00 A.M. and we roll until 6PM.
