Robert Moses’ Kin, in association with YBCA, presents RISE, the company’s 19th Annual San Francisco Season. Described by The Huffington Post as “a visually delicious beast that never comes short of dazzling the senses,” Robert Moses’ Kin presents this evening of original choreography by Artistic Director Robert Moses, including two world premieres Profligate Iniquities set to Sephardic romances (traditional Jewish music from Spain) and The Slow Rise of a Ridged Man, a solo to be performed by Robert Moses. The program will also feature a reprise of Moses’ 2013 work NEVABAWARLDAPECE, featuring music and text by Carl Hancock Rux, Laura Love, Corey Harris, and Paul Carbonara. A short post-performance Q&A will be held following all four performances.
