The Richmond District Jog in the Fog 5k is a fun run/walk for the whole family! Come out and enjoy a great course through the beautiful neighborhood of San Francisco's Richmond District, enjoying our beautiful parks and coastal scenery along the way.
THE COURSE
The Jog in the Fog race begins in Mt. Lake Park and finishes out at Lands End in the USS SF Memorial Parking Lot. The course is 3.4 miles in length, and is mostly flat terrain but there are some hills and stairs in the Lands End portion of the course. View the detailed course (note that Google Maps think it's longer than 3.4 miles but we've clocked it with a GPS, it's 3.4
OUR CHARITY
Proceeds from the 2015 Richmond District Jog in the Fog 5k will go to the Richmond District YMCA located at 360 18th Avenue in San Francisco. The YMCA's mission is to "build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities by enriching the lives of all people in spirit, mind, and body."
With over 4,000 members and program participants, the Richmond District YMCA offers creative movement classes for youth, after school care; summer camp; family programs; teen programs; senior programs; adult health and fitness; and a variety of community programs, from food assistance for low income immigrants to free community health days.
