Richard II is directed by L. Peter Callender who intends to structure it as a memory play, one where audiences can expect to begin at the end and work their way through as the plot unwinds via some of Shakespeare's most lyrical language. The sometimes humorous and sometimes tragic story of Shakespeare's man-child king will be brought to shimmering light by a cast of less than 10 top Bay Area actors.
