Real Food Real Stories -Â Connecting You to the People and Places Behind Our Food
------------------------------------------------------------------------
A special collaboration with Airbnb featuring live storytelling from some of the best Bay Area food makers and farmers. Plus, you’ll always find ingredients from the story in the shared meal.
On March 8th, we have partnered with Airbnb in San Francisco to bring community and the power of storytelling to Airbnb's beautiful HQ in SoMa*, featuring co-founder and co-director of Pie Ranch Jered Lawson. Pie Ranch, located in Pescadero, is an inspiring organization that cultivates a healthy and just food system from seed to table through food education, farmer training, and regional partnerships.
Join us for dinner and drinks sponsored by Airbnb and hear Jered's story advocating for a healthier food system through hands-on farming education. After the storytelling session, stick around for a slice of famous Pie Ranch pie!
*Upon arrival to the Airbnb office, please check in at the front desk on the left to receive your nametag for the gathering. An RFRS ambassador will be present to guide you into our dining space.

About Our Storyteller - Jered Lawson, Co-Founder + Co-Director of Pie Ranch
Before co-founding Pie Ranch in 2003, Jered worked with various organizations in California that share a common goal of influencing the way people relate to themselves, each other and the land around them through the development of healthy, local and just food systems. Jered leads the organization's regional advocacy efforts, joins in farm operations, and works with the Board of Directors to raise the necessary support to fulfill the mission and infrastructure improvements of Pie Ranch. Jered lives on the farm with his partner Nancy and their children, Lucas & Rosa and loves to surf when time allows.
