Responsive Body Bonding & Belonging

SEE EVENT DETAILS
2-day workshop crafted for somatic practitioners, movement artists, creatives, caregivers, leaders, trauma survivors, radical bodies, educators, partners, parents, therapists, social justice workers, athletes, organizers, HR/managers, and/or arts administrators. Together we explore movement, sensation, and social bonding in our own personal ways as a portal into the deep listening that is asked of us so we may once again receive the wisdom of our bodies. The Responsive Body somatic and bodywork practices are self-care tools that can be taken with you as ongoing resources for your health, wellness, and vitality. Responsive Body is a body-based practice and social movement for liberation and disruption.

Daily schedule includes decolonized pedagogy and teaching in Responsive Body movement, bodywork practicum, and group discussions.

No prior experience in dance, somatic healing, or medicine are required. The workshop welcomes all bodies but may not be suitable for young children.

Bonding and Belonging offers to bodies:

*Social nervous system regulation

*Responsive Body Movement Map explorations

*Responsive Body linguistics and body languages

*Body to Body work (body playground)

*Centers safety, connection, and bonded body belonging
