Please bring your mat with a smile and open heart to participate in a group practice of yoga, breathing and Sonic Bonding of the Om with REZA aka DIRTYHERTZ.
The night will start with a group breathing exercise to bring everyone closer together followed by a yoga practice. The class is designed to rejuvenate the mind and body connection and encourage you to face fears and break barriers with more challenging asanas. The ambient/downtempo music and the sound design are specially prepared to REZAnate and take you on a sonic journey to release the raw emotions and energy of the body during the practice, which will be magnified by the sound system of Halcyon. The class will descend smoothly to a lead savanna and finish with a Sonic Bonding of the Om.
A little about REZA aka DIRTYHERTZ:
With 15 years of teaching experience, Reza offers a unique perspective on the mat. His classes are described as engaging and lively. With his joyous spirit and teaching style, he guides his students through an invigorating and thoughtful asana sequence with ease. Music and sound are an integral part of the experience which he provides.
As a yoga instructor he has taught in some of the top yoga studios/gyms and started "Yoga at the Office” providing on-site yoga classes for businesses in San Francisco Bay Area. As a professional DJ known as DIRTYHERTZ he has travelled the world, not to mention his sound design and music compositions for some of the top companies and product launches. He also initiated one of the very first yoga/dance parties in SF called “Opium” back in 2004!
