Join Brava! for Women in the Arts when we present Vero Majano's live cinema production, Remember Los Siete. Utilizing archival film, audio interviews, and personal history, Majano's Remember Los Siete is an artist's response to the under-documented story of the seven Central American men know as Los Siete, who were accused of killing a white police officer in in San Francisco's Mission District in 1969. All between the ages of 16 and 20, the men spent two years in jail awaiting trial, while Latino youth organized to free them and a movement flourished. Featuring live music by The Comrades.
