Please join us for this special event with with Ambassador Valerii Chalyi. He assumed his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the US in July 2015. Mr. Chalyi previously held the position of Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Ukraine following his role as a foreign policy advisor to Mr. Poroshenko during the presidential campaign.
Ukraine, the largest (by territory) independent country in Europe, has been facing Russian aggression since February 2014 in its regions of Crimea and Donbas. Ukraine's Ambassador to the United States will discuss the current situation and lessons learned from fighting Russia's hybrid warfare.
