Refugee Art Show - San Francisco

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at International Art Museum of America (see times)
Please join us for an art exhibit featuring artwork by refugees currently living in refugee camps in Greece. This event will support Love Without Borders, a refugee aid organization working in Greece.
Love Without Borders provides art therapy for refugee children and adults living in the camps and housing communities in Greece. The refugees are primarily from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. They have been displaced by war and have fled their home countries in search of a peaceful place to live and raise their families. Love Without Borders is a grassroots organization that has directly helped hundreds of refugees with their basic needs.
Learn more about Love Without Borders in a special segment by: NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt
The artwork will be on sale for between $25-$150. 100% of the profits from this event and the sale of the art go directly to the refugees. This allows refugees to buy basic necessities while living in the camps (food, clothing, medicine, etc).
Light hors d'ouevres  & wine will be served.
