Description

El Circo Dia presents an immersive aerial theatre performance as a means of both advocacy and validation for those that have been forced to move amidst the housing crisis in San Francisco

Refuge: A Ballad for the Renting Class is a bold jump into the conversation about San Franciscos shifting cultural landscape and will illuminate the need for a deeper social justice approach in sheltering San Franciscos most vulnerable citizens.

As a means of both advocacy and validation, Refuge: A Ballad for the Renting Class aims to honor the experience of those who have been forced to move. This immersive theatre experience will depict an array of characters portraying final moments within their shelter and will tell a story of the unexpected loss of what many believe to be certain: their home.
