About Aaron Pope
“Dance music is all about drawing energy out of people in a positive way.” This is Aaron Pope’s belief, and that’s what most people remember about his DJ sets - his infectious energy. A longtime music fan and dance floor resident, Aaron brings this joy and love of music behind the decks with him, and at every gig he loves to dance and interact with the crowd. His sets encompass many styles, including house, breaks, electro; even funky mid-tempo if the occasion demands.
Aaron has been a professional DJ for 13 years. He has played at almost every venue in San Francisco, for a wide range of promoters and crews. He was the first resident DJ and music manager for the infamous Deep End at Burning Man. His gigs have taken him to New York, Miami and Chicago, Brazil, the Caribbean and Ibiza. As a member of the Space Cowboys DJ collective, he can often be found playing at such parties as the Ghost Ship, SnowFest and the infamous Breakfast of Champions.
