Redwood City Movies on the Square featuring Barbie

On Thursday July 25, Barbie and Ken are having the time of their lives in the colorful world of Barbie Land, until they get a chance to go to the real world, where they soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans. This feature film is preceded at 8pm with a short independent film presented by BraveMaker Film Fest. So head to Downtown Redwood City for a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience! Join us on Courthouse Square for a FREE outdoor movie in the company of friends, family, and community.

Whether you're revisiting old favorites or discovering new gems, there's no better way to enjoy FREE movies than on our giant LED screen, complete with surround sound. Your summer movie experience will be enhanced with a mix of family movies and feature films on Thursday evenings, including double features with Kids Movies at 6pm and Bravemaker Independent Films at 8pm! The main feature runs at 8:30pm.

Movies are shown in high-definition Blu-Ray and Surround sound when available. Redwood City is THE ONLY city in California offering surround sound movies, so come enjoy the scene and experience outdoor "theater" with our special LED Video screen. Come early for the best seats (a limited number of chairs and tables are available). Bring your blankets and pick up take-out food from the nearby wonderful restaurants!
