Join us for our 3rd Annual Hanukkah Pop-Up Shop in San Francisco! It's a curated gift shop and community space featuring collectibles, specialty items and creative gatherings designed to inspire anyone interested in Jewish life.
The Hanukkah Pop Up will be open daily at 10 a.m. with special events throughout the week, including:
* “The Hanukkah Ornament”, young adult cocktail party co-sponsored with Congregation Sha’ar Zahav
* MahJongg Drop-in Play & Tea Party with Sara Linden Levy’s Mahj Club
* “Warrior Training” movement and meditation with Sarah Waxman of At The Well and special smoothies with Bright Bean Health.
* Light it Up: Olive Oil tasting with Congregation Sherith Israel
* Family Hanukkah Party with music, crafts and Hanukkah-themed snacks
* Castro Menorah Lighting After Party with Congregation Sha’ar Zahav and crafts with Limmud Bay Area
* Gelty Pleasures: The alternative Christmas party sing-along around a piano with Sharky Laguana
* Reading nook with PJ Library
* Ongoing children's crafts and activities.
* Give Light project engagement

Our “Hanukkah Ornament” conversation acknowledges the competition between Hanukkah and Christmas. We will explore what it means for Jews to maintain our particularity within a larger Christian culture and have a Menorah “ornament” craft activity while we sip our speciality cocktail, "The Geltini." • 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. “Warrior Training” with Sarah Waxman of At The Well. Movement and meditation topped off with special smoothies by Stefanie Adler of Bright Bean Health. $10 Tickets here or at the door.
We'll read the story of Judith on Hanukkah, the story of a brave, fearless, and powerful Bada** biblical babe. Few may know her story, but any woman looking to empower her life will resonate deeply with what Judith is known for. Spend a special Shabbat morning moving our bodies, and recounting the story. We will learn and embody all this power. You'll leave stronger and taller, and have a wonderful way to kick off the holiday of lights!
• 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Light it Up: Olive Oil Tasting for young adults with Sherith Israel and Reboot. Traditional menorahs use olive oil with wicks instead of candles. Join us for a teaching and tasting with Sherith Israel Rabbi Jessica Zimmerman Graf. Free tickets here.

Make light stick menorahs, Matzo Ball Soup play foods, and Hanukkah ornaments and fill your own donut holes with pudding and jam! Free tickets here.
