Ask a Mexican is a smart satirical response to stereotypical perceptions of Mexicans specifically and Latinos in general with music by Daniel Valdez of the seminal Chicano/Latino theater family.
Arellano’s column has been nationally syndicated and has enjoyed tremendous response and the next logical step would be the stage. Garcia intends to broaden the conversation to include audience response and participation.
