Raptor Fest at Rancho San Vicente!

Join Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) and Santa Clara County Parks for Raptor Fest - a free educational event celebrating birds of prey and their vital role in our ecosystems!

Featured Presenter: Master Falconer Kenny Elvin of Full Circle Falconry will share the history of falconry, raptor biology, and behavior, with a possible flight demonstration (weather dependent).

Visit partner booths featuring San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory, Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA, and Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance to learn more about local wildlife conservation efforts.

10:00 - 11:15 AM
12:30 - 1:45 PM

Important event Information:
- Free shuttle required from Challenger School of Almaden parking lot to event site
- This is a 75-minute sit-and-listen educational program, best suited for ages 10+
- Bring a picnic blanket for ground seating (chairs welcome but must be placed behind blankets)
- No pets please (service dogs welcome)
- Come prepared: bring water bottle, dress in layers, sunscreen, hat, and snacks (no meat products)
- Registration required - please register for only one show
- Note: this event is taking place at the Rancho San Vicente addition to Calero County Park, north of the main entrance to Calero.
