Join Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) and Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority for a free educational presentation with master falconer Antonio Balestreri, featuring native owls, falcons and hawks. Learn about the role raptors play in our ecosystem, their biology and conservation efforts - with a chance to see rescued and captive-bred birds up close.
Good to know before you go:
* Seating is outdoors on the ground - bring a picnic blanket. Low-profile chairs are allowed but must be set up behind blanket seating.
* Duration: ~2 hours, sit/listen format - best suited for kids 10+.
* No dogs, except service animals.
* Parking: Public lot behind the facility, at the corner of Monterey Rd. and East Dunne Ave.
