The forum will discuss services that are available in the two valleys to help meet basic needs of food, shelter, and health, and identify ways for community members to support and strengthen the social safety net where there are service gaps and unmet needs.
Speakers include Bruce McPherson, 5th District County Supervisor, Jennifer Anderson-Ochoa, Director of Mountain Community Resources, Jim Hart, Chief Deputy in the Sheriff’s Office, Cecilia Espinola, Director of the County Human Services Department, and a representative of Valley Churches United Missions.
The forum is intended both to help people obtain services and to encourage community members to do what they can to support the social safety net for San Lorenzo Valley and Scotts Valley residents.
