Interested in being a one-time mentor for Developers/Engineers?
Looking for guest speaking opportunities to share your industry expertise & knowledge?


Join General Assembly’s Career Lab where you’ll have the opportunity to connect with our most recent cohort of Full-Stack Developers, share your industry knowledge, and provide valuable feedback to candidates on their capstone projects. 


Languages: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Ruby
Web Frameworks: Rails, Express.js (via Node platform), React and/or Angular
Tools/Technologies: SQL and NoSQL databases, Unix CLI, Git/Github, Heroku, Sublime and/or Atom


You will receive resumes & digital profiles in advance in order to review projects and backgrounds. 

What to Expect

12:00 - 12:30pm - Developer AMA [Ask Me Anything] - Join a panel of industry experts to to share insights on career paths and answer candidate questions.


12:30 - 1:30pm - Code Review/Mock Interviews - Meet with 2 Developers (30 minutes each) to review capstone projects, provide feedback on code, discuss professional opportunities, network with new engineering professionals


Previous hiring partners include: Adobe, IBM, Udacity, CBS Interactive, Whistle Labs, Amazon, Blue Rocket

As always, there are zero costs associated with hiring General Assembly graduates.

*This event is specifically for hiring managers or educators who are looking to review projects of GA graduates. Unfortunately: this is not an event for outside job seekers to come meet hiring managers.
