Project Open Hand Celebrates 40 Years of Meals with Love at the 2025 Hand to Hand Gala

This year's gala marks a historic milestone--40 years of meals with love--and promises an unforgettable evening of celebration, community, and compassion. All proceeds directly support Project Open Hand's programs in San Francisco and Alameda counties.
Guests will enjoy champagne and gourmet cuisine, inspiring stories and recognition of community heroes, an exciting live and silent auction, and dancing and entertainment. Community awardees will be announced at a later date.
The Hand to Hand Gala raises vital funds to support Project Open Hand's mission: providing nutritious, medically tailored meals to neighbors living with serious illnesses, social isolation, and food insecurity. A cornerstone of the Bay Area's food and health landscape, Project Open Hand serves nearly one million meals each year to individuals facing complex health challenges such as HIV/AIDS, cancer, and heart disease.
