Progressive Parenting Family Potluck

Raising Children? Our 3rd Saturday Progressive Parenting family potluck is a fun and deep way to enjoy diverse connections while exploring your spirituality and values in community. We impose no beliefs, offering an open-minded & supportive venue to share and explore. Families light a candle together, sing a song giving thanks for the food, and tell a story related to the monthly topic. Then kids play in childcare while parents have some adult time, sharing their wisdom and challenges. May's theme is Teaching Joy: Overscheduling, Stress, and Mental Illness. June & July are open-themed so far, with topics directed by whoever attends. We meet at UUFSCC, 6401 Freedom Blvd, Aptos. RSVPs are helpful in providing enough childcare.
