By Walt McGough, directed by Michael J. Hawkins
One night only, Monday, January 20th at 8 p.m.

1834 Euclid Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94709
PAY-WHAT-YOU-WILL
Priscilla, a lonely woman who works at a hobby shop, is so empathetic that she cries nightly while watching game shows. But her evening routine gets weird when she starts receiving 3 AM phone calls -- from aliens. When she finally picks up, the aliens ask her a big favor: to save the world. In this fantastical play examining loss, love, and the search for answers, Priscilla looks to the only expert she knows, her favorite game show contestant Simon, to save both worlds before it's too late.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:
Michael James Hawkins wrote, produced, directed, and even voiced thousands of commercials along with spinning actual records and making funny noises in padded rooms. Michael escaped broadcasting and commercial production to go back to college, earning a fine arts degree in 2014. His knees, legs and backside can be seen on Westworld, as well as other minor background moments with no face-time. Michael executed his own Escape From L. A. to the Bay area in 2016. Michael continues to write, teach voice, act, direct, create commercials, and puppeteer (recently as "Fish" in Cat in the Hat for Palo Alto Children's Theater). He also formed a production company this year in an effort to make something more than commercials.
