"Princess Ida or, Castle Adamant" is a mischievous musical comedy about women's rights, with Gilbert's great British humor and some of Sullivan's best music, inspired by Lord Tennyson's epic poem, "The Princess." "Every princess needs her prince. Well, almost every princess."
Fully staged, in English, with supertitles, performed by accomplished singers from the entire Bay Area. Featuring Lyric's excellent directors, orchestra, set designs and costumes.
