Carlmont High School is proud to present Pride and Prejudice to be performed May 2nd, 3rd and 4th at 7pm in the Studio Theater of the Carlmont Performing Arts Center at 1400 Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont. Pride and Prejudice, based on the masterpiece by Jane Austen and adapted by Janet Munsil, is considered to be one of the greatest love stories of all time. When Elizabeth Bennet meets the handsome Mr. Darcy, she believes he is the last man on earth she could ever marry. But as their lives become intertwined in an unexpected adventure, she finds herself captivated by the very person she swore to loathe for all eternity. This play portrays the classic tale of love and misunderstanding that sparkles with romance, wit and emotional force.
