Whether it is a pandemic, earthquake, or transportation emergency, this seminar will discuss the proper training needed to prepare for a range of unexpected events. Learn how building strong preparatory community relationships and in-house as well as interagency collaboration plays a role in preparedness and public awareness. Led by Michael Anderson, MD, President of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, consultant to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) National Disaster Medical System and more. Co-sponsored by School of Management, Master of Public Administration (MPA), and Master of Nonprofit Administration (MNA) programs and the School of Nursing and Health Professions (SONHP).
