Please join us for an afternoon of premium wine & gourmet cheese tasting and cello music at our synagogue, Congregation Beth Sholom, on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 3 to 6 p.m.
We will be pouring premium wines from six of the most prestigious vintners from the great Northern California wine country, accompanied by the delectable cheeses from Cowgirl Creamery. Each winery will bring its top of the line wines, many of which are not otherwise available outside of the winery. There will be opportunities to sign-up for the vintners premium wine clubs and to order wines directly from them.
Michael Zilber, manager of the Cowgirl Creamery outlet in Point Reyes Station, will be available to discuss the exceptional cheeses he selects to pair with the wines. All are vegetarian-based rennet cheeses.
Tickets to the event are $100 per person until March 2, 2014 ($125 thereafter and at the door). All proceeds will support our synagogue programs.
Raffle: We are raffling off fine wines from the cellars of congregants who have been collecting premium wines for many years. Your entry ticket entitles you to one raffle ticket. You may purchase additional raffle tickets at $25 each or five for $100. There will be a minimum of ten raffle prizes and the value of each raffle prize will be at least $100. Raffle tickets are available for purchase even if you cannot attend the event. You need not be present to win a raffle prize.
