Hope Mohr Dance will premiere Precarious June 1-3, a walking tour and dance performance. Klockar's Blacksmith shop was the last of its kind in San Francisco. Blacksmith Tony Rossellini worked for 45 years in the small wooden building. So did visual artist Tracy Taylor Grubbs and choreographer Hope Mohr, who shared a creative practice on site. In response to the conversion of Klockar's into a retail storefront, Mohr is creating a walking tour and dance performance that begins in front of Klockar's and ends at CounterPulse. The event will give audiences the chance to remember the history of working bodies in San Francisco and to witness the cultural vitality so key to the city's future.
